I regret to inform you that I have made the difficult choice to close our services at this location due to a series of severe differences with the landlord.
One of the key areas where I encountered significant disparities was regarding our catch and release policy. As a company dedicated to sustainable fishing practices, I strongly believe in the importance of preserving our aquatic ecosystems. Unfortunately, I was unable to reach a mutual understanding with the landlord on this matter, which compromised our commitment to responsible angling.
Furthermore, I have also witnessed a gradual decline in the overall quality of the services provided, particularly in the condition of the boats. Ensuring our clients have access to reliable and well-maintained vessels is paramount to me, as it directly impacts their fishing experience. However, despite my efforts to address this issue, I have seen a consistent deterioration in the quality of the boats supplied, making it increasingly challenging for me to deliver the level of service I strive for.
Additionally, the issue of over-harvesting has significantly affected the fishing prospects at Skålestrømmen. I firmly believe in sustainable fishing practices and am committed to maintaining a healthy and vibrant fish population. Unfortunately, the excessive harvesting practices in this area have had a detrimental impact on the fish population, diminishing the potential for an enjoyable and successful angling experience.
I want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. I understand that the fishing opportunities at Skålestrømmen hold promise, and I appreciate the support and loyalty you have shown me over the years. However, my commitment to providing exceptional guiding services, coupled with my unwavering dedication to sustainable practices, led me to this difficult conclusion.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for choosing me as your angling guide and for the unforgettable memories we have shared together. I will continue to explore new and exciting fishing destinations where I can provide the high-quality experiences you have come to expect from me.
